love when customers put their "credentials" in their email signatures just so I can confirm when ridiculous requests are coming from non-technical people.

Reflecting on how boss finally decided to start taking care of his workers comp thing, the way he asked me if I told dude if I worked here or not seemed to have come off as if I was supposed to deny working here.
I was almost expecting his reply after I said yes to be, "No you don't work here, anymore." Or something like that.
He could have taken care of his shit any time in the past 6mo & that wouldn't have happened.
I even told him day it happened that if he can furnish proof, or get workers comp that day, that the ticket would be voided.

I don't understand why he always pulls shit like this though.
I assessed this guy needs a new hard drive. Not really any way around it. Sure, the drive isn't quite dead yet, but it is well on it's way.
Keeps popping up error message during boot & when it loads into OS about drive going bad. Have reformatted it, but then the OS crashed because of bad drive corrupting data. Now it's trying to do a repair which will go nowhere.
Boss spoke to guy but didn't even go over what I had assessed well before he called the guy.
