OK. So.

Replaced motherboard in customer laptop.
Doesn't charge. Charger outputting correct voltage. Nor charging with our own charger.
Shuts down anytime during startup or while in use.
BIOS doesn't have a menu to view voltage/heat information.
Been sitting in BIOS for 20min with no signs of issue.

my local diner doesn't do waffles with ice cream anymore, though... at least it's not on the menu. I'm sure they'd probably make it for me if I asked, but I'll probably just order waffles with whipped cream and a strawberry compote.
