I was working on one of my Amigas and was trying to pull the motherboard. The final two screws would not come out and the heads had the crap stripped out of them by me trying to get them out. So I got a Dremel and cut a slot into each screw and used a flathead to remove them. I'm hoping I can wrap this project up tonight -- I need to solder a battery holder onto the motherboard.

So fuck this desktop.

HDD's intermittently works. Was able to backup data. Can see it as secondary drive. But will not boot. Won't boot to an install disc.
Swapped cables, drives, stuff. Reset CMOS.
Still acting like butt.
Booted to Ubuntu & mini-xp.

I'm thinking something went wrong with the board, or even BIOS has become corrupted, somehow.

Running out of ideas & becoming end of day.

Fuck this desktop.

Battery holder soldered onto board, battery inserted, and everything working beautifully. What a pain in the ass!
