People say if you go into consulting you work way more ThN 40 hours a week.

Depends on the project but that is often true. That is one of the reasons I haven't gone into consulting. My time is too valuable.

Life would suck if it's always going to be busy like it is now....

You control that. Don't work your life away.

I am getting peeved with my Touchpad. I will try loading Android on it first, however.

Ah. I'm just tired with tinkering. I want something that works and I don't have to think about shit. My primary reason for being surrounded my Apple products.

I'm hoping my gf gets this assistant-ship. Then she can buy a new car. Doesn't have drive that gas guzzling death trap of a van.

Ticket Master is such a racket.

it's not that I can't afford it, but I can't morally justify buying tickets from scalpers who buy-out an entire venue in seconds and resell at 2-3 times the original cost.

(and rofl @ the scalpers who market general admission tickets as "floor seating")

Mine is on the FedEx truck for delivery.

Why? Need an upgrade from your hp? Or is it the lack of apps?

I don't know you but it seems like the hp is enough for your needs.

The Touchpad is a nice product. The problem is that since the last OS upgrade, there are too many bugs and issues. Like my network dropping after 15 or 20 minutes of surfing. That isn't acceptable. SlitheryDee (I think) told me that he had the same issue and installed Android on the TP and it works fine so I will go that route.

HP also cheaped out on the case and people are reporting cracks around the speakers and ports. I had a crack develop by a speaker and applied epoxy last night.

The lack of apps is also a problem, but not a showstopper.

Meet a good friend from hs yesterday. I was disappointed. He used to be very motivated to do well in school and actually gave a shit. Though he sucked at halo.

Now he doesn't give a shit. Changed majors from international affairs to something else because its easier. Dropped a few classes because he wants to take it easy... Now taking 6 hours.

Just odd

Yeah. I've heard about those issues. I thought they were replacing the case?

I wish that OS took off instead of android.

It's probably fixed in android because they're possibly using a newer wifi driver from another device with the same chip.

I'd probably keep the TP and give it to my wife or sell it to my brother.

I've got about $350 in Amazon reward points and was thinking about a wi-fi only model.
