Any neffers want original, boxed copies of:

Office 95, 97, or 2000
Windows NT Workstation or Server
Windows 2000 Pro or Server

They're free except for shipping. I can't sell them because they're NFR copies (eBay won't let me, despite how old they are). If you guys don't want them, I'm going to throw them out, I think.

I am serious about cleaning out my computer closet. I bought that printer last weekend and it came in a pretty big box, which I think I'll fill with electronics stuff that I can't sell and I'll find someone to recycle it.

I figure I can get rid of a bunch of stuff (old power supplies, removable drive cartridges, etc), consolidate boxes, and then I'll be in good shape in the closet.

I tend to keep product boxes, at least for a couple of months after I bought something. So, I'll make a lot of room by cleaning those out. I've still got 2 Xbox boxes and 1 PS3 box but I'm hesitant to trash those.

I started cleaning out my old computer stuff last month.

it didn't work out well... I dragged everything out of my closet and into my spare room to start going through (and toss old stuff like IDE cables, old software, motherboards that are less powerful than my cellphone, etc), but it's been sitting in the middle of my spare room ever since.

Let's see -- a Roku2 box, a Garmin box, a Razer Carachias box, a Razer Vespula box, a Philips body trimmer box -- safe to trash those by now.

A few years ago, at my old house, I cleaned out my computer closet. I filled, IIRC, two 33 gallon trash bags.

This time, I'm going to be more "environmentally friendly."

Last year, I took a ton of stuff and had it recycled at an event in Indy. 2 or 3 CRTs, several towers, an old VCR, a bunch of old boards, etc. I could've and should've taken more.

Selling a Firefly remote and a Thermaltake SL1 on eBay. I'll put my Athlon x2 board/CPU/RAM up later today, once I take some pics. I really think that's about all I can sell though I do see PATA DVD burners seem to be fetching OK prices.

I really need to go through my cord drawer. Its a very big drawer filled with cords and cables that I don't need. I always just order new from Monoprice when I need one. I just ordered 2 micro usb cables, an hdmi and a micro hdmi cable. I bet if I took the time to go through all the crap in that drawer I'd have 3 out of the 4.

I've got 2 cord drawers and probably a good-sized boxes worth as well. I hope to consolidate them.

I'm going to have to get rid of my iPaq. They just aren't selling on eBay and I have limited use for it. It is a shame, because it was a cool device.

I doubt it's an entire bookshelf worth, but I seem to have a lot of random obsolete manuals and documentation.

I noticed one for DOS 6.2 sitting next to an OS/2 Warp book the other day.
