I have created a square that cannot exist. It has four sides of equal length. Two of these sides are parallel. The other two sides are not parallel.

That is completely impossible. Given equal length sides, if two are parallel, the other two must be parallel. It's not even that I can use this to say the figure formed is or is not a square, it simply cannot be.

Well, two sides are equal length and parallel to each other. The other two sides are equal length to each other but not parallel.

A square, by definition, must have same length sides.
