“Dreh' dich nicht um, schau, schau,
der Kommissar geht um!
Er wird dich anschau'n
und du weißt warum.
Die Lebenslust bringt dich um.”
Alles klar, Herr Kommissar?

Oh that's just a simple PC then. :p
If you're just sharing files not really needed.
If you're doing a lot of virtual stuff sure.

1000+ cores and 1-8TB memory is fun.
Talking over the roar of Liebert coolers isn't.

32 GB would probably allow me to run the VMs I want -- that is, if I decide to build out a new server infrastructure here.

Of course, I'm not really into that like I used to be. But I figure maybe I can get back into it and learn some new skills.

Well, I'm a little more productive today. Took a bit to get into the Circuits homework, but I'm cruising now. That was actually a studying goal - go through the Circuits enough to gain some real speed, because, having taken the test before last semester, I know I was not previously fast enough.

I should also be considering putting together a handful of good review problems to do right before the test, as a way of getting warmed up.

Sigh I need to go out to buy me some milk. It is cold outside and I don't feel like walking.

Do your homework NOW, play games later. The satisfaction of having work done first makes you happy and this positive energy will make your playing more enjoyable and scores better. Win/Win. ;)

Hrm. The book has two pages about delta-wye transformations, but doesn't say how to actually use them, and freely swaps notation around between numbers and letters. It's an absolute mess.
