Pro tip: Stay single. You can have a modest job and still be rolling in money even if you buy a house, etc.

Pro tip accepted!

I have no plans of marriage.

I mean, theoretically, if you could find a sane woman, it's a financial winner, by pooling resources for large items (i.e. house), and getting marriage financial breaks... but there is no such thing as a sane woman.

My man, I love wine, and live in a great place to take advantage. There is a load of Wineries in Temecula, which is pretty close to me. Always some cheap delicious wine to be had around here.

Temecula -- isn't that where the house used in ET is located?

Just mostly sane, that is all you can hope for.

I shouldn't bitch too much. I have enough money to go on nice vacations and buy toys. BUT, when I was single and lived in a modest house by myself, I was rolling in money. Of course, I never took vacations or anything like that either.

Pro tip: Try different varieties of wine. Merlots, Sauvignons, etc. are everywhere. Try the Traminettes, Seyval Blancs, and other wines such as rhubarb, blackberry, cherry, etc.

Why is this surprising? Georgia has always been about the commodities: peanuts, soy.

Wine is becoming more and more mainstream and wineries are becoming destinations for people to tour and enjoy. It is a big money-making business and I'm surprised a state with so much agriculture like Georgia hasn't embraced it more.

Think about Indiana -- corn and soybeans are our largest crops and yet, we have a thriving wine industry.

Dammit. Second day in a row that internet speeds have been shit here at work. Takes forever to upload stuff to YT now. Reconnecting router seems to get things back up to speed for a few minutes, then goes back to shit. Shitty router that has given us all nothing but headaches since we've had it. Have few ideas on solution, but still not certain if will resolve it.
And I don't remember the router login. -_-

Well I understand that in recent years the wine industry has expanded outside of Napa Valley. But that doesn't make it surprising that Georgia doesn't have a wine industry.

I live in Georgia, here the traditional crop - like other humid states in the Southeast - is muscadines. There are some small family farms that make muscadine wine. But it hasn't gotten to be a big business yet.
