funny thing is in Taiwan, you would eat that in an air conditioned restaurant because you will sweat eating it. I always get runny nose eating this.

no, more from the temperature, I don't do the spicy stock. Kills all other flavours.

It can be very spicy, depending on how you prepare it. szechuan hotpot is particularly well known for being spicy. But you kind of sweat anyway just from the heat of the dish, spicy or not.

on the table was 1lb of beef, 1lb of pork, 2 kinds of veggies, various fishballs, tofu. Also cooked some udon for my son.
