was having audio problems. Look llike xbmc was trying to push it out of the analog ports.

I ran a 25 ft optical cable just because running RCA cables at the length would introduce too much noise.

Take a Miata. Take a Subaru. Install the Subaru powertrain into the Miata.

Yeah, yeah, weight, drivetrain losses... who gives a damn. You get four wheel traction, meaning the launch becomes a non-factor.

Space, however, especially with a V8 swap, is a problem. Also, AWD V8 isn't enough power to break the wheels loose at speed - and I'm really doubting you could fit a pair of twin-scrolls and an intercooler in addition to all this.

But given some money, tools, and space, I'd be happy to put forth glorious effort.

Well, yes, the base of it is the Miata, with an LS3, plus the hot cam. At that point, you're past 400 RWHP. Supercharging is unnecessary because you're already having traction issues trying to put that much power on the ground with a 2600 pound car.
