Phone shows 90% battery after being unplugged for six hours.

The trouble is... there's an open wireless network that isn't really open. It doesn't have a key on it, but once you connect, it wants a registration. Well, a) I'm not registering, and b) I can't, because their network can't figure out how to deal with anything less than a full computer. So instead, they just bog down devices by showing a useless network.

A $460 "LS hot cam" can take a regular LS3 motor, used in the base Corvette since 2008, and in the G8 GXP, and boost it from 430 to 480 HP, and 424 to 470 ft-lbs.

Dollar for dollar, pretty nice mod. :p

An LS3 wouldn't be cheap or easy to find, but they do exist, then just add the "hot cam", and VOILA, monster power boost. :D

Really, the easiest way would be finding a terribly mangled late-model Corvette, and taking the whole thing home from a junkyard to serve as a complete donor. Pull the entire powertrain, reduce it down, and stick it in.

And finding a terrible-mangled Corvette, fresh into a junkyard before somebody has already picked it clean, yet not so badly mangled that the powertrain has been destroyed, is nearly impossible.

There is that... then I end up searching for a 3G signal from a concrete basement all day, so the battery dies because it can never find anything.

:/
So if I understand it right, you get no signal and don't want to use the wifi, why not put it in air plane mode, or turn it off?

A 2002 with 15x9 wheels (!!!) over an 11" (???) BBK, mounting an LS376/480 to a T56... tires are Toyo R1's, size unknown. But they seem to fit inside the stock fenders, and their minimum size is 235 to fit x9 wheels.
