I start work tomorrow.

Just finished some Christmas shopping. Got 2 books for my father about $40 total, and a $40 gift card to the GAP for my mother (she likes shopping there). I've asked just to receive money (last Christmas I think I got about 300 from my parents), though my father usually does get me something else anyway. Parents are also likewise mainly exchanging money. Aside from stocking suffers of course.

Aside from the vid card upgrade, which I'm hoping to pay for through selling some stuff. I'm looking at upgrading to a 120GB Sandforce v2 SSD. I've asked for money for Christmas. The 80GB Intel X25M is starting to get a little long in the tooth.

Really? I'm not sure you'll actually notice the change except 50% more capacity.
