Zeppelin is good, not really my taste, but they kinda got a lot of this stuff started. I don't really get Floyd.

I'm a metalhead with a taste for a lot of complexity and technical precision.

in that case it surprises me that you don't get Floyd. That is basically all Floyd is, with a bit of psychedelics and philosophical lyrics thrown in
 
I have the wood purchased and the pickup. Now just need to make it to athens to have my man put it all together. Should take about 6 weeks with all the work
 
If you listen to Dark Side of the Moon after a couple beer from beginning to end REALLY LOUD and still say you don't like it then I can believe it, but not until then.
 
the 2011 remaster is probably the best easily attainable copy, the DTS torrent floating around the net is also very good, probably better than the 2011 remaster but it is mixed in such a way that you really need to listen on a good surround system, and it does sound a bit different because it is not like the original version
