Once I hit January, I'll start making good money again. I need tires before then though, and besides, tire prices keep rising. The credit cards can only string these out for so long.

My kanye collection is almost complete. I've got all of his CDs, vinyl, and books.

Just no shoes

If I get the Chase card... this week, and the cycle closes on say, the 15th of each month.... then this next cycle will end on December 15th, and the payment will be due on January 15th. That would be viable. Then I could buy the tires immediately, and not have to pay for them for two months.

I suppose there is some merit to that. Then I have one card for end of month, another for mid month. A lot more fine tuning becomes possible.

Also, I should mention this to my parents, I know they do have mid-month cards.

Although they'll probably discourage me paying for the tires, which is why I was going to use my card, and just do it, present it as fait accompli.

Did I use that right?

In fact, with a mid month card, I'd also be able to buy the lights equipment after mid-December, do the conversion just before Christmas, and have them for January, and pay for them by mid-February.

Yeah, I hate the whole "string this out and rely on future months", but January is worth about $1500 to me, so it patches up a lot of holes in my budget.
