I disputed the charge over a month ago. Hopefully my CC will side with me.
Every other package arrives. Most of them hit the leasing office before.

New girl has a four month old son, the father is an ex. Oh dear. At this point, my opinion is sinking quickly, she's damn young to have a kid and such a mess. Turns out to be a smoker too, and well, I'm judgmental.

Then comes the employment history. Medical field, which I always find weird that medical people smoke. I know, stress and all, but you know better than anyone what it does. Manager at a small retail store, so this is clearly a downstep. I'm getting really puzzled.

"How old are you?"
She looks at me funny, and says "Guess." The tone makes me think she is older than I believe she is, and that she asks means she figures I'm guessing a little low. I update my guess to maybe 24 or 25, in my head, but I say my original guess, 21. Before she answers, I insist the other coworker give her guess, and she concurs, 21-22.
Well, new girl is pretty happy, and thanks us both. She's 29. We're shocked. Does not look it, at all. So hell, we probably just made her night.

That she's older makes me think much better of her. A 21 year old with a kid seems irresponsible. A 29 year old is normal.

Also, I'm no longer the oldest on shift. Well, for tonight.

We figure out between the two of us... when she graduated high school, I was in fifth grade, and my coworker was in third.

We had much lulz while she went out for a smoke.

Oh yeah.

I think someone from my h.s. graduating class got bolt ons.

Y'know, fake boobs. When we graduated, she had pretty small tits, now they've pretty much doubled in size, maybe more. I mean, it's still tasteful, looks good, but by age 18, the size is pretty well set, and if the rest of your body weight has stayed essentially the same... yeah.

Talking to deceased best friend's cousin. Woo, we'll both just quietly ignore the reason we know each other.

Is it sad that Kakewalk has made installing OS X on my pc easier than installing win7?

Yeah.

Seriously, installing W7 is so easy. Any improvement over that offers marginal benefit and/or reduced options.

I wish I could have afforded a DSLR.

This point and shoot does what I need... usually. But high light situations, quick shooting, action shots, and large field all expose it as weak.

I'm looking at some of my shots from yesterday, and they're awful. I can see the blur all over the place, oversaturation here, undersaturation there, some of them even look like tilt-shift without being such, there's no real depth, just... ew.

And the shot that I think had the best composition was just way too much for the camera to handle. I needed something... I don't even know what.

The idea was getting the two walls of trees, showing off that some are evergreens and some are colorful deciduous, with a few bare trees visible across the street, all the snow on the ground leading out to a mirror black car.

And as soon as you expand the image to near full size, the blurring of absolutely everything becomes so obvious. :(
