Switched the Amazon/Viking waffle weave for DI's smaller, more expensive, but supposedly more absorbent and better quality one. One towel will be enough.

Okay, I think I'm down to my final list. I'm keeping the 32oz ONR, the 128oz citrus soap, the 128oz general purpose spray.

ONR could be obtained in 128oz for another $25, which would take me from about a three year supply to a twelve year supply. LOL. I don't plan on washing anyone else's car with the ONR either, my parents have no qualms about running their cars through automated washes.

The citrus soap is available in 16 or 128oz. .5oz is a wash, 2oz is a deep strip wash. If the 16oz was a 32oz, I'd probably get that. But a 16oz will probably only last a year. Also, 1.78oz/$, versus 4.92oz/$.

And I don't plan on taking my car through the automated car wash at all. I know, the previous owner, of a 70k mile car, probably did that. I can't do anything about that except get a good polish done.

Down to $171.78. Still a little steep, but it gives me eight years worth of wet soap, three years of dry soap, probably 3-5 years of quick cleaner, an unknown duration of sealant, an unknown duration of wax, a 5-10 year supply of clay; plus a sponge, a glove, a grit guard, a drying towel, a random towel, another soap sampler, and a few foam applicator pads.

Hmm. 10.5 grams/$ versus 9 grams/$, $19 versus $11. $8 less, and I don't really expect the clay bar to go extremely fast.

I'll have these supplies for... as many years as I want pretty much.

Okay, let's do it. I want a pretty car.

Yeah, it's a lot more than I wanted to be spending... but whatever, I'll have the stuff long enough that I'll forget about the cost.

And that's it. I'm postponing the MP3 adapter installation, I'll use the six disc MP3 CD ready changer in the meantime. It's major disadvantage is the inability to shuffle, and the lesser disadvantage is I can't quickly and casually add music to it in just a few minutes.

I've already done my shifter swap and V1 wire, and those were prospected to cost up to $50, instead, they cost nothing.

I won't be getting a window tint until next spring, when it gets really sunny out. It means other headlights in the darkness can still dazzle me from sides and back through the winter, but it lets more sunlight in to warm the car in the depth of winter.

I'll want a dark tint for a black car with black leather come next summer; and because the sunlight is always just off my left side during the summer commute, which makes it tough to see.

Top Gear has Hammond sitting inside a car under a mammoth electrical structure, and the car is getting fucking lit up, about half a million volts now.

I still can't find out what the wattage of an H4 bulb is in my car. 55/60 seems to be the normal value for H4 bulbs.

I wonder if my car can handle 90/130 versions. Almost double the wattage to the low beam fog setting, and more than double the wattage for the high beam emitters.

The problem is that I don't know whether or not the harness can survive the extra current, or if the heat load will singe anything in the housing.

Hopefully somebody else has tried putting a high power H4 into the G35.

As for the projectors, I'll reuse the current ballasts, then add about $250 for the projector housing, the shrouds, the bulbs, and a few other small things. Maybe $300 tops. Not too bad.
