Singh, Baljeet :: Hello, I am from Global Service Assurance, how can I help you today?

Bailey, Justin :: We have a problem with our ice machine, and I was told I have to submit
before maintenance will investigate.

Singh, Baljeet :: Hello Justin, I can help you with your request. I have created a ticket
for you, #IM102955. Before dispatching local services, I will need to
troubleshoot the problem remotely. Can you describe the problem?

Bailey, Justin :: The ice machine doesn't work. The compressor is probably broken.

Singh, Baljeet :: I see. I will try to diagnose this problem, but can you first describe
for me what you mean by "ice machine"?

Bailey, Justin :: It's an under-counter appliance... we have it in our kitchen.

Singh, Baljeet :: I am not familiar with this device. Can you describe its purpose?

Bailey, Justin :: It produces ice... which we then use to chill our drinks?

Singh, Baljeet :: I see. This will be challenging to remotely diagnose, so I will
dispatch local services to help resolve this problem.

But it's an L!

It has a red line around it too1

Insufficient reasoning. Unless you have a waterproof camera as well, and enjoy and frequently do go out shooting in the rain, the waterproofing status is irrelevant.

As for bokeh, I cannot comment, as despite my mild fascination with cameras, I cannot see what constitutes good and bad bokeh. Out of focus is out of focus.

You can get a one ounce jar of red enamel hobbyist's paint, and provide yourself that sharp looking red line on the cheaper lens. 😀

Oh, yeah... you can buy FOUR of the cheaper lenses for the price of one of the expensive lenses.

Or, as another way to look at it... the cheap lens, and something else interesting, for the price of the expensive lens.

Or the cheaper lens and a hooker and some blow?

But yeah I can't spend 4x the amount :\

What did they say no to?

I picked up Quake IV on Sunday, installed it, and promptly found out that the multiplayer community is non-existent, MP does not support bots, and because of Steam's design, you can't mod the program at all to add bots or fix the campaign.

Ergo, it's totally fucking useless to me.

...actually, half of what I have on Steam is crap.

Metro 2033 really wasn't all that good, Monday Night Combat was terrible, Quake IV is dead.

The only things were buying were L4D and Orange Box, and L4D actually came as a four pack, and two of my friends never paid me for their copies. Stupid of me to give them the access keys before getting the money.
