It doesn't help that this is south georgia where it's hot as hell causing all of the women to dress with as little clothing as possible

I could not work in an office with no window

I do it every day. I'm just fine. I feel isolated, hidden, separated. Time has no meaning besides what I see on a clock. Weather is irrelevant until I walk out the door. I need see nothing - and there is little to see.

Another plus about working off a laptop is that I can just carry it out into sweetheart circle and enjoy being outdoors while working..

Of course this is when it isn't 100ºf

Now, there is merit to that view.

I, unfortunately, am at a campus where the educational levels are extremely high, and, as we all know, there is some exclusion to attractiveness and intelligence. To exacerbate this problem, it is classed as a research school, ergo, most of what we have here are extremely book-smart graduate students.

My office used to be in the basement here. Now, I'm on the third floor with a window just down the hall overlooking the construction of the new building. I'd rather be in the basement, I think.

I would not wish to work under an open sky, no matter the weather. I rarely even go outdoors to a shaded porch, were it available.

I did had to do it at my last job. It was okay because of two things:
Paid very well
I could work from home as much as I wanted

It's even more significant when you work for a school. Depending on the utilization of the building, you don't get a lot of idiot students wandering down to see you.

Construction of a new building, though, would intrigue me. It would be detrimental to my performance, but certainly interesting.

the good part about working out of the marketing building is that general students have no need to enter.

Damn, I really should've sold my stocks two weeks ago, and bought gold. Like 2.4 ounces would be the end of it.
