I don't think it's the motherboard being screwy again.

The board has 6+2 SATA. Six on ICH10, two on a JMicron thing that keeps dropping offline. But F isn't on the JM.

A pure eight board on ICH would've been a lot better. But I couldn't find one, or at least, not in my price range.

The next server is going to be smaller.

I've lost the name of the creation some guy made, but I'm probably going to chase that design.

It's about the size of an old flip lid CD tray, same shape, but with a rank of drives in it, and an Atom underneath.

But next time I do the server build, I'll be trying to get a RAID 5 or 6 setup going, which means all new drives, probably higher capacity, and not Green series. Whatever gets top marks for reliability, with some respect to budget, will be the winner.

As for the next computer build, I don't know. Monitor needs to be replaced, it's getting some dark blurs in various areas, not sure why. It's not the stains.

I don't want to abandon water cooling, because I really don't like air cooling, but at this point, air is quieter and easier to work with.

IDEA!

Sell my GTX 460's now, put in the old GTX 260 (I think it's still downstairs), hold the money for a bit (three to four months), then sell the 260 and use the total sum of the money to replace it with something newer, such as a 570.

Oh, and at the same time, might as well sell the TX950 PSU, and just use old reliable TX750.
