I have this weird urge to buy an apartment building. It's one of the tallest buildings here, and apparently it's for sale for around 4 million but not really listed anywhere. I doubt the bank would actually lend me that much money. There's about 60 units in there and it's mostly seniors and other good tenants that don't cause trouble. It does need lot of work though including elevator overhaul, and I'm not sure what the legalities are for doing work yourself on a building that size, you're probably suppose to hire pros, and that costs a lot. It's a fun thought though.

I think I need to stop thinking of buying expensive things and pay off my existing debt first.

I've been there, was summer though, so didn't ski. But they have this mini rollercoaster sorta thing that's pretty fun.
