I got an email from Spectrum just this morning informing me that my connection (down) speed will be increasing from 500Mbit to 600Mbit, but of course no change on the upload (I believe it's 20 or 25Mbit up).

At least it's only $50/mo.

How do you get it for $50/mo. Are you in the promo?

my 100Mbit is going from $29.99 to $60/mo and the package here for that 600Mbit is $29.99 promo and then to $109.99 a month.

Yeah it was a promo price but for w/e reason I've had it for a year already and it shows the promo price on my account billing being active into next year. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I grabbed a random pencil from a box in my desk to write something and no idea how it made it's way there or how it hid this whole time, but it had an inscription on it that it was from my 98-99 school year. I don't know why I kept it or why it appears as if it was broken in half then glued back together, but guess at some point it meant something so I kept it. I would have been in like grade 7 then. Elementary school were tough years, that school was tough in general, lot of bullying etc. Maybe that's why I kept it, so that I can one day find it again and know that those days are over. I sure am glad they are.

I have a Magura (hydraulic brake systems) ballpoint pen from a bike shop I worked in back in '99, and it still writes. I also have a Bic lighter that someone gave me in 2001 with one of my old nicknames on it (Boddington...don't ask lol). Amazingly, it hasn't leaked butane to empty and also still works.

They were some good years. It's funny some of the things people hang onto for the nostalgia, heh.

I've still got a working lighter that I got at a skinny dive bar in Barcelona from 1993 back when I was in the Navy. It was connected to a club next door that had live sex shows. Good times.

come here you big pizza

I don't order the fancy pizzas with exotic toppings or stuffed crust. No. I content myself with plain pepperoni on classic crust. No dip on the side. No breadsticks. Not even a drink. Very mindful. Very demure. :innocent:

Have had pizza on the brain here for a few days too...now I'm trying to decide between a pizza today or lake perch this evening. There's some good places around here for Friday fish fry.
