Had surgery today. I'll be off from work for at least two weeks. Thankfully, I had a friend who could take me and bring me back home. Last time I had surgery, for a detached retina, my late wife drove me home. That was 2015.

Hamas uses WD-40. Buy yours today.

edit: I guess it could be a ripoff, but that yellow and blue can is pretty distinctive.

Either way, I like the sales pitch. It's . . . inapposite.

Good luck with your recovery.

Thank you. Now, I'm waiting to hear back from the surgeon. The nurse practitioner told of a week and a half recovery time. I allowed for two weeks. The discharge paperwork said 3 weeks. Today, the schedular is giving me a post op visit of 4 1/2 weeks. It was nice sleeping in today.

Looks like Popeyes is open now. Going to have to try it some time but I'll wait so I can beat the rush. Any time a new place opens people act like it's only going to be here for a week lol.

@Red Squirrel - I think it's like that everywhere. I tend to only go to places I've been to before but I don't buy prepared food very often.

A couple of years ago, a bunch of us decided to try some new texmex place and I think we waited for around an hour.

There are a handful of joints where at any time around lunch or diner, you're going to wait.

@bigboxes - I'm a junkie at heart so it's best that I stay away from that stuff.

But there is an opiate that doesn't get me high - tapentadol. It's synthetic so I think technically it's an opioid not opiate. It's not FDA approved in the US so you have to import. Great stuff and I'd take it every day were it not for some odd and annoying side effects. But I wouldn't read too much into that. My side effect issues seem to depart from the norm.

Plus in NJ they're really cracking down.
