I never really bothered with Twitter until maybe a few years ago during the convoy then I kinda got into it... perhaps a bit too much, considering the side bar is now burned in to my monitor. Linkedin I never really got into. I see it as a place that I'd maybe spend more time on if I was actively looking for a job but as long as I have a job I'm happy with I don't see any real reason to go on there. I get the odd job offer on there and it's always minimum wage IT jobs. IT doesn't pay much anymore in general, every time I see job postings its a joke. They ask for the moon, and then pay like $12/hour. If I lost my current job I'd just go hang drywall or something and make more money.

Decided I'm going to have to go on a strict diet... after this weekend. Sucks. I just weighed myself and I'm not that bad. I wonder how long it will take me to lose this flub. Having my best friend from high school over this weekend. Beer and pizza will be involved.

Running some electrical wire in the basement, meanwhile upstairs cats having the zoomies lol. Finished running the wire, some of those were really awkward pulls due to it being in furnace room and having to work in tight spots but got it done. Will terminate it another time, maybe tomorrow.

With diabetes I can't really drink. I had 4 or 5 6-packs over a week or so and f'ed up my A1c. Only by half a point but that's a lot, especially when it means over or under 7 points.

One of the thing I'm really not liking about the continuing Zoom trend is that you get some funky looking people. I've sort of adapted. And being a former porker myself, I really shouldn't throw stones (or shade), but there are a lot of fat peeps out there. One guy I just saw looked a little like a walrus. The only reason I'm almost at a normal weight are the diabetes meds. Were it not for those, I'd probably be dead already.

How is zoom worse than in person meeting, you don't actually have to have their video on you know.

I don't really "do people" IRL, including zoom. I should have specified that I meant cable news. From my perspective, that almost goes w/o saying. I have to try to remember that most peeps can't read my mind and I stay away from the ones I think can (kidding).

One commentator just said that some unspecified "they" look like idiots. But if they ARE idiots, don't you prefer some transparency. Make up your f'ing mind.
