They charged me 51 dollar Resort fee per day...
I stayed one night at Harrah's. No gambling. They wanted to charge me a resort fee. I kept arguing with the checkout staff to remove the fee. They took their sweet time acting like they couldn't do anything. We were ready to head out and they were in no hurry.

Aren't the Feds supposed to outlawing all of those bullshit fees. I don't really care since I don't get out much but 51 bucks per night is like getting jacked.

It was already in the booking fee so not like I had a choice in the matter.

Woah so that shooting turned out to be a car bomb. Although maybe guns were involved too. Lot of mixed information.
The 90's called and want their car bomb back.

Wait. Never could tell a joke. :(

I love some of the Apple ads. Like titanium is semi precious or some shit. $6/kg and that's down a third since Jan.

Shit, I have titanium crowbar I got years ago for like 30 bucks maybe - just because it's cool. It's incredibly light. I can swing that thing like a Hogwarts wand. I doubt it even weighs a kilo.

For something that size in steel? I have no idea but it's gonna be hefty.

It's really so sad to see people who've become addicted to public adulation hit the skids, so to say. I have one politician in mind, but only because they get the most play - as a general rule. But it's like someone on oxygen having their tank taken away.

'But I can't breathe, I need that.' Except for this, no, you don't. Even a junkie can make a better argument for their addiction.

I know this is pretty mundane shit, but the fact that I can't see into that sort of mind bothers me a bit. I suppose I should be thankful.

I prefer my crowbar to have some heft/eminence in shadow

Just realized that I forgot to share my Saturday pizza. Probably thrown off my normal routine. This past Saturday, I made a bacon cheeseburger pizza. Hamburger, bacon, jalapenos, dill pickles, tomato sauce, whole milk mozzarella, colby jack. Crust brushed with olive oil.

I've known this for years but with covid, traffic dried up considerably.

Well, I think we really, really are back at this point. Rush "hour" again runs from 2:30 pm (I shit thee not) to 6:30pm, at the earliest.

Now understand, that's just locally. If you're commuting from central Jersey to say Staten Island (you poor cursed bastage) even at around 7:30pm it's bumper to bumper in spots.

In fairness though, the area I'm talking about has the biggest bridge over the Raritan River and it's where the NJ turnpike, Parkway, 287 and some other highways sort of criss cross.

I suppose other places on the planet are worse but aren't they mainly around cities? Both NYC and Philly are very roughly 50 miles away. NYC is a bit closer although the train rides are comparable.

So this is just cheek by jowl "suburbia" - which at this point has GOT to be a misnomer.
