10k IU D3 and got my A1c under 7.

Fuck yeah.

10k is on the high side but 5k only put me in the middle of the acceptable range and I've been prone to infections my entire life.

You're using Vit D3 to lower your A1C? 10K, even 5K is excessive. I could have sworn that you can do kidney damage by taking too much D3. I was using 5K along with my late wife while she was fighting cancer. As soon as I read that you can cause some serious health issues, I stopped taking the supplement. I get sunlight and Vit D3 in my diet. I was taking it as a supplement to improve my immunity. The NIH has this to say about Vitamin D3 and diabetes:

Vitamin D helps your body Vitamin D helps your body regulate blood sugar levels. However, clinical trials in people with and without diabetes show that supplemental vitamin D does not improve blood sugar levels, insulin resistance, or hemoglobin A1c levels (the average level of blood sugar over the past 3 months). Other studies show that vitamin D supplements don’t stop most people with prediabetes from developing diabetes.

@bigboxes Your concern is much appreciated but the D3 and A1c were meant to be read as separate and unrelated events. My apologies.

I keep a close eye on my D3 levels, but for me, it's quite essential that I at least keep its level in the normal range. For whatever reason, that requires 5k IU. Currently, I'm experimenting with 10k and it seems to work even better, but if my next blood test shows I'm beyond the normal range, of course I'll cut back.

But I should add that since I haven't been tested yet, I only take that dose 4 or 5 times per week and skip about 2 days.

I'm quite certain that you are incorrect about the kidney damage, which as a diabetic, is something I AM concerned about. But admittedly, either 5k or 10k might be excessive for some people. In those cases, I can definitely seeing D3 have some level of toxicity.

lolz!! Man, a phone that upgrades your CPU via ROM - clearly Huawei are the Masters of the Universe!
I saw a video of it, hilarous. Who needs ASML when you can just update the rom to upgrade the lithography used.
