Smoke is NOT an easy scent to become inured to. Best find a pulmonologist and put him/her on speed dial. You're pretty young still so your respiratory cilia should be in good shape. But if not, OTC guaifenesin will give them a nice NO2 boost.

Newest new mobo arrives today. Hopefully, I’ll be all set after pulling the other mobo and installing this. Zen CPU performance is so heavily tied to IF frequency and mem latency that mem tuning is a must. Well, it’s a must if, like I, you’ve spent 25ish years trying to ring extra performance out of DIY systems.

Well, I used to enjoy the heck out of tweaking PC hardware to no end. But, I don't seem to have the same patience and enthusiasm anymore. Next system, which won't be for a while, I'll probably just shell out for higher spec RAM, set it to XMP or EXPO and call it a day. Of course, this was a PITA because of the dead PSU that took out my older mobo with it - I wasn't going to upgrade anything but the CPU and case.

Smoke seems better today. Sky still looks a little hazy but can't really smell it as much anymore and the sun is not as orange. More pics from yesterday:
Actually had someone from The Weather Network ask if they can use some of the first pics I posted. I only ended up getting back to them a few hours later though so not sure if it was too late. Would be kinda cool if it showed up on TV.

My new outside hose is basically unusable. I don't know if it's an issue with the actual silcock or something I did wrong with the plumbing or what, but it sucks. The pressure is pure garbage. The water just drips out in front of me, there is no power to it. I really don't feel like having to redo all of that but I will have to.
