Just noticed your sig. Were you Special Forces? When I was strongly thinking about the military, that was the direction I was going in. Dunno if I'd have made it, but that's what I was interested in.

Yes , briefly. I was 82 ABN as Crypto repair. The CWO4 asked for a volunteer for field duty , then said it might be a month or more. My buddy Spoody declined , So I was It ! Only then was I told what it entailed. Xfer to the 5th SFG , 4 weeks in the field , then Xfered back. It Was A Blast ! I was what they called a Candy Striper LOL

Got my taxes mailed out this morning. Had to go to the post office for a money order and stamps. I was almost late this year. I forgot about the whole thing. I was looking at the calendar for something else, and thought "Oh Fuck! I need to get my taxes done!". It could hardly be easier, but I find the whole thing a chore, and have a hard time getting to it.

It was the 2017 tax year. It's due this Tuesday. I suppose I'd be more motivated if I were getting money back, but I never do. I get a little back from the feds, and pay a little to the state, and it just about zeros out.

I get mine done professionally, so it just gets auto deposited. Made out like a bandit this year, $1,800. I rather get something back than to have to come up with money to give.
