I get random gum aches sometimes. A gum area will get really swollen and hurt. When that happens I find washing my mouth with salt water helps.
No idea if it would do anything for a tooth ache though... but worth a shot I suppose.
It's happening to me right now and it seems to be getting better. Suppose drinking alcohol was not a good idea, but my pop was just put in the fridge so it was warm.
Just had a Zombie, which is a sugary drink. Going to brush my teeth in a bit and then do salt water again.

Not wisdom teeth you dingus!
It was number 20. Which is like a cuspid or bicuspid or something. And since I have diabeetus I'm pretty sure it takes longer to heal.
