Lol finally got around to rebuilding my monitored mouse trap array and put it back in the attic. Got an alert 5 minutes after closing the hatch. Figured something must have gotten loose as it's kinda "beta" right now. Nope, I actually caught one. They're so much less gross when they are fresh. The other ones kept false tripping as they were all corroded so I would tend to not bother checking until all 3 alarm points are tripped. Now if I get a trip I know to go check right away.
They look so cute though, I always feel bad but they are a nuisance, spread disease and not really worth trying to live trap only for them to come back.
Though it would be interesting to put a very precise GPS tracker of sorts on one and release it, so I could figure out how they're getting in.
