lol I kept landing on diabetes too when doing searches while having that stomac thing. The tiredness started around the same time. They checked my blood sugar when I went to the ER and it was ok. I'm seeing my family doctor this week, hopefully they can send me for some tests, this stomac thing is still not 100% gone.

What all did you find out so far? I was gone for a while, so may have missed any posts you made.

Not much progress really, the starvation thing mostly went away on it's own but it turned into a burning sensation in the lungs if I breathe too hard. Just waiting till I can see my family doctor. The earliest appointment I could get was this week, so it's coming up soon.

Though today it seems the starvation thing is back. Ate a big plate of spaghetti for lunch and by 4pm I was hungry again, ate a can of beans, and it didn’t do much. Had lot of nuts and stuff in between as well and did not do much either. It's not as bad as it was originally though. Basically it feels like my stomac wants to growl but it never does.

Turns out the fluorescent fixtures I got for free are T8 fixtures and not T12, they just put the wrong bulbs in. I'm not even surprised, the maintenance guy responsible for the lights is not the brightest tool in the shed. lol. He once declared every balast as bad in a room because none of the lights worked after changing all the bulbs. That's because the light switch was off.

So bought 4 T8 bulbs, I'll have to install these fixtures some time in my work out area in my basement to replace the light sockets that have CFLs. Won't have to worry about hitting them when doing overhead presses. Not that fluorescent fixtures are that expensive but free stuff is always great.

Get some LEDs. This is one time where solid state is better than tube.

Some of the newer ones at work are LED, they're actually pretty neat. Way more expensive though, but you save a lot in the long run.

I saw those filament ones on other youtube videos, pretty interesting. Are they basically just many LED modules in series but on a single die? I wonder if they have proper filtering so they don't flicker, as they are dimmable so don't think a regular SMPS would work.

They are COG (chip on glass) design and emit blue light. The yellow color is the phosphor target that produces white light when excited. How cool would it look to have uncoated ones emitting narrowchromatic 440nm light?

I have a few small ones, they are dimmable and I don't get nasty strobe effects around fans. The PWM is pretty high on them. I can usually tell with a CMOS sensor and shutter speed slider.
