The Hyundai dealership here just went complete sh*t. They got bought out by some other company that pretty much just quadrupled the price of everything with no exceptions. They were sleazy and overpriced before, now it's beyond all reason.
I scheduled a service well in advance, oil change tire rotation, check fluids etc. Basic stuff. I bring my own oil and filter, last time it cost me $10 for an oil change. I've got a print out saying it's $20 with the tire rotation this time. OK whatever.
I come in and they want about $130 after tax. WTFBBQ?!
After 15 minutes of "discussing" the price, the service rep had to go find somebody more important to continue the "discussion" with me.
Apparently they charge $100 for 4 quarts of synthetic oil now (my car needs 3.1), and this was being added to my bill.
I brought my own oil.
"Doesn't matter, we can no longer give discounts if you bring your own."
LOL.
I have a printout that says it's going to be $20.
"That was a deal we made before, and it's only for conventional oil."
What? I brought my own oil.
"Yes but you brought synthetic."
*I'M GOING TO STAB YOU*
"OK sir, since we just switched over I'm going to make an exception just this once. Technically I'm not allowed to do this, and next time you'll have to pay full price."
They didn't check or fill any of the other fluids, dunno if they actually rotated the tires.
Time to find a new dealership.
