Only in my city, can it go from being a nice hot day with blue skies, and within half an hour turn into a miserable rainy day.

I decided to take out a solar panel, charge controller, battery bank and multi meter outside to test the charge rate of a battery with solar as I plan on using it for a camping trip. I go for a hair cut and while my hair is being cut, torrential downpour, meanwhile I have all this electronics stuff outside at home.

I rushed home to go put it back inside, I think it survived but I'll let it dry before I try to turn anything on. That teaches me to think "it should be fine". Going to run a wire outside so I can keep the equipment inside and just the panel outside.

Pity not the blind man, for he is hindered not by the visions of this world, but rather pity yourselves, for he will see the light before you do.

It's pretty much getting into roving thunderstorm cell season in Tampa Bay, you leave things out at your risk.

They roam the area with rain and lightning like little mini thunderstorms.

We had someone roofing the rear of the house a few years ago one a flat section, was cloudless and they had it ripped off, put tarps on top to finish it the next day and a cell moved over and dumped water fast on it after they left.

It pooled up and a seam finally gave way, needless to say they were responsible for fixing a lot of water damage on a couple rooms later.
