my new thing for online backup.
use synctoy. your "docs" folder (or whatever important folders u got) as the left folder. your cloud storage (google drive, drop box, sky drive, etc) as your right folder. set to "contribute" or "echo" (your choice). use task scheduler to automate the process during sleepytime. wake up to backed up files. call with questions.
I use skydrive for 10GB of free storage.
