god damn I hate the windows 2012 (and its Office equivilents) GUI.

I don't understand why they feel the need to have so much white space everywhere.

I have a Pidgin and Lync window opened side-by-side... Lync is like 50% larger to display half the data I see in Pidgin.

I hate anything after office 2003. It's just so clunky, slow, bloated, and the font/text colors are hard on the eyes. They recently upgraded us to Outlook 2008, it's brutal. I want Outlook 2003 back.

That's what I like about most open source software, you can be up to date without a total redesign of the whole UI every single time.
