While I disagree with many of his specifics, I do agree with the thought that abortion is used for convenience more than need in most cases and I believe that's wrong.

So would I be correct in concluding you are morally against abortion at a personal level, but support abortion at a national legal level?

Do you support it being banned federally, state by state, or not banned at all?

I support it being banned and honestly, it would probably have to be at the federal level.

And remember, I'm agnostic so this isn't a religious viewpoint on my part.

See, I have no objection with abortion. I see the conundrum of the male being without any say in the matter, and the woman having the sole choice, yet it being her choice is the only rational result - her body, it must be her choice. Yet, to restore some level of equity, I fully agree with ICF's statement (as do many men) - if she wants it, and the man does not, then she has to take full support of it.

Now that I do like. :awe:

That's one of the double standards I despise:

"It's the woman's choice to keep it, but if she keeps it, you're stuck paying for it!"

Also, I don't like how a fetus is not considered human, but if a woman is murdered and was carrying a fetus, it often results in 2 murder charges. The law needs to make up its mind.

That's why you don't have sex with random women.

My opinion is that sex has a known function in nature and when you engage in it, you know the possible outcome regardless of what kind of protection you did or didn't use. Pregnancy is a risk and people need to take responsibility for their actions. Giving a child up for adoption is a very valid option and in many (most?) cases, all expenses are paid by the adopting parents.

I just don't have respect for people who can't take responsibility for their actions. I have an incredible reverence for life and think it is the most valuable thing in the entire universe. I hate even killing bugs.

Good point. But still believe that it should be up to the girl.

I hate that if she decides to keep it the guy is screwed. The law acts as though the girl had no choice but to have sex.

Registrar answered. Her English is a little choppy, and notably, she used "could not" where she should have rephrased for "should", which creates a significant gap. Her implication is that it is somehow my fault that I was not able to get into the course, when in actuality, it is the school's fault in their scheduling designs. She should have used "should" to imply a positive connotation, as in a why should you get into this course.
