I think it is funny that when I was single and even when I was a student, I'd spend money on computer stuff without much reservation. Now I'm married and have much more money, but I examine these kinds of expenditures very carefully.

Good luck with that, I am thinking FAIL.

Oh, I have no doubt that her family (who are also fed up and have decided we should donate to a family instead) will flip flop and change their minds.

I, on the other hand, have had it with the holidays. I'm tired of the drama and while I usually enjoy buying presents for others, I'm sick of getting things that 1) I've told people not to get me because I DON'T LIKE IT or 2) It is something I "need," even though my wife conveniently says that you should only buy things the person "wants." That apparently doesn't apply to me, however. I'd rather people just keep their money.

I've got a sweater and pants to take back that she got me. She is pissed I'm taking them back, but I won't ever wear them.

My friends wife bought 4 dresses for a funeral 14 months ago. Last Saturday she decided to try and take 3 of them back. Never worn still had the tags etc, but come on, 14 months later?
