i've got 2T of space. 1Tb is one drive where the tv card records. it's the easiest to keep relatively clean

3TB (48 Intel X25-E 64GB RAID0) is pretty nimble. The SAS expanders would be better served with real SAS disks though. 2011 looks to be a good year for SAS SSDs.
