trying to install automatic gate opening that is approximately 3/8ths too short to work for a 12 foot gate. I hope it works tomorrow.
 
I think it will as the manufacturer probably says maximum 13 inch range as a safety, I assume there is approximately 1 inch of play leftover that they are not mentioning in the manual, in order to save their own asses.
 
I spent most of my night doing cards and packing ornaments. The back room is a mess again, but the upper shelves are largely untouched. Of course, there's a reason for that - the next most physically able person is a 5'9" man of Asian descent, and after that, it's all females.
 
A string of hypothetical questions for everyone.

If you had a three year old son, and he wanted a Barbie, would you get it for him?
If you had a three year old son, and he wanted to wear a dress, would you allow it?

If you had a three year old daughter, and she wanted a Tonka truck, would you get it for her?
If you had a three year old daughter, and she wanted to dress as a construction worker (not for Halloween purposes), would you allow it?
 
Also, after espousing the friend zone theory, they asked me who had ripped out my heart and stomped on it. As if there is anything in error about the theory.
