ATOT mushroom experts: what is this?

I've got this mushroom growing on an old tree stump in my backyard. OMG, it's massive! The thing is already the size of a small dinner plate. 😱



Seems to be growing at a rate of 50% per day. I've had it grow in my yard before, and each time it gets whacked down or dies off. This is the biggest it's gotten so far. It's maybe 8'' in diameter on top.

Any ideas what it could be? No, I'm not going to eat it to see if it's poisonous. I thought I'd volunteer Trident of neckbeard for that. ^_^

Some type of polypore maybe? Those usually grow off of trees through.

Ah, think I tracked down what it is. I'd a Drayad's Saddle. Or at least it looks like one. Inedible but not poisonous.
