ATOT MTB riders. Post pics of your ride

Don't have pics available at the moment.

However, maybe someone can provide me a link or links to go online equipment shops.

Mine is the hardrock II.
Same color, a different fork, and cheaper components.
I use it for my daily commute, but on saturday I went on singletrack. Pretty good, even with the more road oriented Michelin tires I put on it.

Those forks are '02 Marzzochi MXC Comp and they do not come standard on the '03. The 04's have some Marzzochi forks but I dunno what they are.

I love 'em. They make the Rock Shox Judy TT's look stupid.

Yeah, I have a suntour fork that came standard with it. I think it's 01 or 02 frame.
The components are Alivio, which are pretty crappy, but the frame is great 😉

My ride

How much did you get it for? Supergo had a yellow hardrock sport a week ago for $275 with no tax... damn tempting for a beater bike... i went back there yesterday and it was gone. 🙁

I picked up my frame used on eBay. All in all mine cost me around $1500. But it's worth every penny.
If you're new to MTB I'd go with a nice hardtail to start with. You get much more for your money that way. Full suspension is not really needed, it just makes it easier to ride.

Nice, you got the same bike as me, except mines in the stock configuration and mines more of a gold. Sadly I ride this thing 95% road, 5% dirt. Like driving an SUV in the city.

my bike, stock condition

Not pictured, it's a junker bike I say. 99 DiamondBack Outlook 14.5".

Here is my trusty old Trek 830, had it for almost ten years and put a couple thousand bike path miles on it, it has been a great bike.

Last year I picked up this Trek 4300, I havent had much time to ride though, gonna have to make time this year.

Both bikes were less than $300.00 , look for sales and the last years models and you can get a really good deal 😀

What does it take to upgrade from the Judy TT's? It appears that this fork only got one spring and theres 2 sides...

That is normal. Usually high end forks have the spring in one leg and the damping in the other. You probably only got springs in one side and the other is empty.
