Can I be an observer?

2 problems I can see right away is how are you going to get investment, and how are you guys going to actually communicate?

Sounds like a decent idea..... But the idiots/scammers/other non wanted people that stick to the project(if anything devellops) will have to be filtered out.... But with the amount and quality of human resources found here I think if it could be properly organised it could work. Count me in.

Sure, I'm game. I majored in EE and now I'm an ME grad student focusing in robotics, if that helps at all.

Contrary to what many of my posts may seem to show, I am rather intelligent and I've been told I have a good business sense. Secondly, I can give you the.. err... younger (read: teen) take on things.

I'm in (if you'll let me in).

I would be interested. I won't commit until I see the type of project and the people we have.

I'm sure it will as we seek to eliminate expenses and human error from the manufacturing process by replacing people with robots.

Sounds like a good idea, just the sheer numbers of geeks on this site should provide some revolutionary idea.

Count me in as long as it isn't a Segway knockoff.

Sounds good, I'm game.

Besides knowing computer hardware and Windows inside out, I've worked in print media and i'm going into Corporate Communications, so I'll do what I can to help!

Interested to see where this goes...

Ok I though about this and I see some problems. Usualy a company is started by a handfull of people and grows with time. Now this would be the exact contrary, it would strt with alot of people and no established way of making money..... Anyways i dont know. If this is to work you almost need to have a few people do the work and most of the others as consultants of investors of some kind untill it can grow. Bah the more I think about it the more I see it as a managing nightmare.....

Ok.. I think we are a go.

In this thread we need to start discussing the process that we need to take to get the private thread started. Do we need a non-disclosure to join the private thread as it stands now? Should we open the private thread to discuss where we will discuss our product, or should we discuss it there?

I feel that we should do our brainstorming in the private thread, but in order to join a non-disclosure should be signed so non of the ideas thrown out there can be stolen..

let me know how you feel..

English and Communications major with ~5 years experience in sales. Do you need a PR person? I'm a heck of a lot cuter than the rest of you. :p

Just because he's proposing it now and people are jumping in doesn't mean all need to be admitted now. Just starting with the idea people, adding the technical, and then lastly adding sales, PR, etc, would work. You have a good point though.

create a downloadable non disclosure agreement so we can sign it and send it into the lawyer or whatever. From there those that have sent in the aggreements may have access to whereever the discussion board will be.

And oh, DevilsAdvocate is a lawyer, I believe, but I don't know exactly what field he specializes in.

hey wait a minute. ur gonna leave out the marketing people?

i think that would be a mistake. i'd think youd want some marketing people from the very beginning. a product without a market is a waste of time.
