Wow, the Riverside Goodyear ripped me off too. First they gave me a price per tire of $50 bucks, then it took them 10 hours to get the tires mounted, then they also charged me $25 stem fee per tire, $25 disposal per tire, and also another $10 for the special tips on the stems that show the tire pressure constantly. Effectively making them $110 bucks a tire plus tax and a flat "delivery" fee of 50 bucks. When I complained, they said the tires WERE $50 bucks, and that all of the the tire changes are by default included these items unless I opted out. If I wanted, they could put my truck back up on the blocks, take the tires off, and put the old ones back, but they were closing, so I would have to come back tommorrow. The the guy warned me that if I drove with the tires, they would be considered used and I wouldn't be able to get full return on them.

I ended off just paying them and then placing complaint to Chamber and BBB, but I don't think anything happened.

Good luck, and I can assure you, she will planty of company looking for Goodyear's competitors.

She signed the contract so she's pretty much screwed. Tell her to take this is a hard lesson learned.

disposal fees are pretty much regulated. Your valve stem pressure monitors are not.

If they were closing and I didn't sign anything that claimed the charges you said; I would just call the police and make a statement whether they did anything or not.

If you signed something otherwise, don't hold it against them. I always request on my contract that I have to sign if charges are more than X dollars.
