It looks like a chicken bone. The chicken strips are suppose to be boneless. I could have choked on it. This is very careless of them, and they should pay for this. What legal action can I take?

Does killing yourself count as legal action?

Make sure to call the WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAmbulance so that any injuries can be properly documented. You might also want to check your vagina to make sure it isn't injured either.

You can sue your way into anything you want in America. If I ran the country though, not only would you be paying KFC's legal fees for having to deal with your complaint, you'd get a year or 2 of hard labor for an attitude adjustment. I bet a bone in your chicken wou;dn't seem quite so bad after that, eh? ;^)

To answer your question, you have two options.

1. Look for an attorney who will take your case on a contingency basis. It won't cost you anything. The attorney will take 40% of any settlement, if any.

2. Since the first option might not pan out, you can pay an attorney to pursue a case. You keep the whole settlement, if any, but have to pay all the legal fees win or lose.

A third option, although not legal action but a more practical course, is to contact KFC, tell them you got a bone in your chicken strips, and accept a coupon for a free meal.

The type of legal action that stems from you waving a gun around inside your local police station.

Without damages (eg you ate it and died) you have nothing. Like someone said, complain and maybe you'll get a coupon.

it is hard to find but basically there is something called the foreign vs. natural test.

a chicken bone naturally occurs in a piece of chicken. It is unreasonable to expect that KFC could have gotten every little piece of bone out of the food. Therefore they are not being negligent.

However if it was a big piece of glass or something then it would be a different story.

How about you pray REALLY HARD for your balls to drop, throw the bone away, and go on with life like a real man instead of some pussy litigant?

Exactly. Chicken has bones so it's normal/OK for their to be bones in chicken no matter what the preparation is.

People, like the OP, are the reason we have a sue-over-everything culture.
