My high school friends who now live in LA, Matt and Steve, have generously offered to host a get-together at their apartment this weekend (since my current roommates aren't quite as cool as my last ones, my apartment is no longer an option).
Matt estimates there's room for 12-14 people, and is open to suggestions re: what we do. Board games are an option, drinking/gaming is another (for those 21+)... the guys have an amazing surround sound system set up, and the last time I was over, they took time to painstakingly demonstrate its glories via Jurassic Park, LOTR, etc.
If anyone is interested, please post/let me know so I can take a final head count, send out directions, etc.
Matt and Steve prefer Saturday, sometime during the day, but their entire weekend is open and pretty flexible.

EDIT: Staying indoors is one option... going to the park to play a game of touch football, going to the beach to play a game of beach volleyball, etc. are others.
UPDATE: Emergency situation came up... I had to drive to San Diego at 2am to pick up a girlfriend in trouble, and she's with me now... she'll be with me for an undetermined amount of time. Matt and Steve are cool with postponing/rescheduling, and I apologize for the change of plans. Thanks for understanding, I'll write more when I can...
