Doesn't look sturdy enough. Could be thicker. Skeleton watches are nice.

A friend (jeweler) who carries this kind of stuff said he would sell me one for $800 (tax included)

I like the canvas/leather combination on Timex Expedition watches. I hate how metal/all leather/synthetic materials make my wrist get all sweaty. It gives me a rash in the nice shape of a watch.
