ATOT: Help me choose a new kitty!

I'm replacing my broken cat with a new model, one that's a REAL cat.

So I'm looking at the list below.

It needs to be at least under 1y of millage and have decent crapping efficiency. Also, it must be compatible with all the upgrades, mods and nitrous boost I purchase. Also, if it likes weed, that'd be a positive; I have a stash in my kitchen pantry that just hasn't moved for a few months.

Go meet them first and then make a decision. Lots of times, the kitty will pick you and not the other way around.

Also, don't be discouraged if it takes time for the new addition to adapt to any current pets. Introductions must be done properly and can't be rushed.

If the shelter has a sitting room use it for sitting/play time with cats you may like.

My recommendation would be to go interact with the available ones and make your decision based on the one with which you seem to have chemistry ...

Decades ago, when I was a German Shepherd Sentry Dog Handler, I got involved with assigning dogs to new handlers. It was all based on our perception of their personalities.

Certain animals worked well with certain handlers and not with others. Hard to describe and understand. Easy to observe.
