Of course on the top of the world a red sky in morning usually means a storm warning. ;)

Nice, but that was obviously taken with a distorted color scheme.

My camera has a preset option for the same thing. It makes for beatiful pictures, if not realistic ones.

Not particularly, just vivid on my D80 and that's how I shoot pretty much everything as I think it's too muted on the default setting (I suspect you'll find many D80/D200 users who will know what I mean). No filters, no post-processing colour enhancement.

I was there and they don't hold a candle to how amazing the colours and light looked in real life ;)
