I just came across some pics taken this past Fourth of July, when I went to visit friends in Boston.

I stayed with my University of Michigan friend Josh for a night, and apparently he's been watching the Food/Cooking Channel and taking notes. He prepared a five-course meal for us, complete with wine and candles... that guy is AMAZING. Seriously, the quickest way to a girl's heart is through her stomach... :D I think one of the most caring and considerate things a guy can do for a girl (friend or otherwise) is to cook for her.

Have any of you guys ever prepared meals for your girlfriends/wives? If so, what are your specialities?

Ladies, take note... Josh is 24, 6'0", single, makes $100,000 a year as a consultant, and lives in the Boston area. If you wanna meet him, send me a PM. :)

Josh chilling at the University of Michigan (graduated last year, worked as a bouncer at Rick's)

Slicing the bread in preparation for the garlic/cream cheese/veggie dip

The puppy watching on

Putting the final touches on the bread

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, MEAT!!!

The almost-finished product... swordfish cervice, fresh corn, bread w/garlic spread...

Pouring the wine (I bugged him by taking pictures throughout the process)

Smiles... ready to eat!

Eating at a restaurant with my friend Tom (also a good cook, but a better masseuse)

I always do, she doesn't know how to cook and I'm pretty good at it. I will cook every night if she wants to do with dishes. :)

I can't cook. I have no patience for it. My g/f or roommate does all of the cooking.

Heh... Josh? Nah. I slept in the guest bedroom... ALONE. :p We've always been friends... just friends. I dunno, it's weird... we have one of those friendships in which we find each other attractive, but we have no desire to act on it. I tried to hook him up with my girlfriend Michelle, but she hasn't called him back yet.

On a completely unrelated note, here's a picture taken this past weekend... Yasmine kissing Kat!!

LOL... I know. I'm insanely jealous, too... but he works hella hard, and got pretty lucky landing the job.

There isn't. He's a little shy at first, and he doesn't like the bar scene... I dunno, I guess he just has really bad luck. He hasn't even been on a date since he started working in Boston... o_O

Heh. I cook for her occasionally. It's depressing - I suck so bad at it :p

Yeah, then I give up and ask my mom to cook "me" somthing and bring it to her :p

Ok, then the next question is..does he do dishes too????? :)

anyways, I cook for my bf ALL the time. LIke 9/10 AND i wash the dishes too...but I'm working on him about that! :p
But then when my bf does cook, it makes it more special. besides, cooking is a hobby for me so i don't mind doing it. just wish he would do the dishes more often :p

note to all guys. if your gf cooks...do the dishes!!!! :p

It would seem like it, but I'd bet against it... there's never been any sexual tension between us, and we talk to each other freely about our respective romantic situations. He was one of my first friends at the University of Michigan, and gave me kissing/etc. tips when I had my first boyfriend (not by showing me, by telling me). It's always been 110% platonic.
