atot gurus: open source social networking template?

I'm not a heavy programmer, I know your basics with perl, java and C but that's about it. So the question is, is there some sort of open source template that would allow me to setup a web site similar to linkedin, facebook, etc?

There's small niche where I want to setup a place where a group of people can some sign up, create their own webpage post pictures, videos, blog, etc.

Is there such a thing that exist? I've heard of ning, but I want something more customizable?

Joomla + Community Builder
Drupal has built in tools for it I believe

thanks for the replies guys - I'll chk out joomla + community builder. How hard is it to get ramped up on drupal?
I'm mostly looking for something that I can get started relatively fast ... I've been looking around and seems like dolphin, phpizabi, and elgg are pretty popular. Any thoughts on those?
