Similar to the "Six degrees of Kevin Bacon" game only this one may be harder. Rules are simple:

1. Click on the Wikipedia Random Article generator, this is your finishing objective.

2. Click on the Wikipedia Random Article generator a second time, this is your starting point from which you will begin the game.

3. Using only hyperlinks contained on the "Start" random page, go to another Wikipedia article.

4. From each page you navigate to, use only the hyperlinks contained on that page to click through successive articles until you can arrive back at the "Finish" random page (the first random page you generated).

5. Post your Finish point, Start point, and all the pages you navigated to on your way.

Fabulous no-prizes for those who can get to the "Finish" random article in fewest clicks, had the most bizarre Start or Finish articles, or otherwise win the adoration of the ATOT panel of judges.

Example:

First Random (Finish): Mount Ephraim, New Jersey

Second Random (Start): "What a Difference You've Made in my Life" (song)

Steps:

What a Difference... > Amy Grant > WLAC > Rush Limbaugh > New York City > New Jersey > Camden County > Mount Ephraim

First Random (Finish): United States in the Korean War

Second Random (Start): O. Krishna

Steps: O. Krishna -> Umpire (cricket) -> Cricket Australia -> Melbourne -> Australia -> ANZUS -> Korean War -> United States in the Korean War

Pretty crappy I gotta say. I thought I could get to just the "Australia" article from my second or third one but for some reason there was no Wiki-link to it (edited the article afterwards ftw). If I could've, I thought there might be a Korean War section for Australia (couldn't remember if they committed troops for the U.N. contingent) and then it would've been pretty quick I thought.

I think it'd be more interesting instead of people randomly starting and finishing, instead, a bunch of people work on the same start/finish, until we decide that someone's probably a winner. Then start with a new start/finish.

I think it could be a fun team game, no individual winners. Each person clicks a link on the page and posts the next page, with the hope we're getting closer to the end point. Sure people could be dicks and pick a link that sends us off course on purpose, but could be fun.

0. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005–06_Crewe_Alexandra_F.C._season - Well, this is a hard one. Almost all the links are to other "football" (soccer) clubs. D:
1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexandra_Stadium - The stadium they play in.
2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ross_Memorial_Park_and_Alexandre_Stadium - A lucky break - the stadium is similar to one in the USA.
3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FieldTurf - Ooh, the playing surface has a page...
4. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_FieldTurf_installations - Now if I can just find one in Indiana...
5. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indianapolis - Direct link to the city!
6. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indianapolis_Motor_Speedway - getting close
7. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indianapolis_Motor_Speedway_Hall_of_Fame_Museum - a page that links to my destination!
8. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/STP-Paxton_Turbocar

By the way, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pratt_&_Whitney links to STP-Paxton Turbocar. And they're in East Hartford, CT. There's a FieldTurf installation in West Hartford. And there's a link on West Hartford that's supposed to go to Pratt & Whitney. But it's broken. :( Is it cheating if I fix it? :sneaky:
